Guided Tours of the Urban Rooftop Farm ØsterGRO

Join us every Monday from June 1 till end of October

Visit ØsterGro and experience an urban rooftop farm in the middle of the city.

Join our weekly tour every Monday from 4:00–4:30 pm, where we share our vision for more sustainable cities and a closer connection to where our food comes from and how we eat with the seasons. 

Enjoy the garden, and say hi to our chickens and rabbits.

Tour price: 7 euro per person.
Minimum 8 people (or the tour will be cancelled) maximum of 25 people

After the tour, stay and enjoy the rooftop atmosphere with a cold drink from the rooftop bar.

You can also stay for dinner in our Eatery and enjoy a longtable community dinner with only fresh organic produce from local farms and low-impact fishermen.

A little about us

ØsterGro is a CSA (Community supported Agriculture)with 45 family members who pick up their harvest every week from May till December. Throughout the season we invite people in to volunteer in our garden and become a part of our community.

In our greenhouse, we serve the very best of the season, working with local organic farms and low-impact fishermen in our Eatery - Gro spiseri

The vision behind ØsterGRO is not for cities to become self-sufficient on vegetables. - instead, it is about creating a meaningful connection between the country side and urban life.

Urbanisation has led many of us to loose touch with how our food is actually grown and produced.  We aim to bring that knowledge back into the city in a simple and engaging way.
